I know several people who used to (and some still do) work at People in Need in Prague, Czech Republic. This Czech NGO does fantastic work in Afghanistan, the Balkans, Chechnya and several other lovely destinations. I believe they set up the Indonesian program after the Tsunami in 2004. Sounds like you're having a fulfilling time working your butt off and trying to avoid stinky fruit. Hope your stomach feels better soon! Small world!
