WN no Canucks can't just move to the US to work. I think job offers make things easier but I'm not sure if it's easier for Canadians to move there than for people from other Western countries. The 'brain drain' from Canada to the US was often a topic of conversation when I was in university so I think a lot of Canadians must make the move.

Alan and John I will get in touch in a couple of weeks to see how our schedules line up. It would be great to meet up (again).

Hey Kirsty,

I'm living just outside NYC now, let me know if you want to meet up while you're in town. We can catch up on what's happened since we went out in Hong Kong.

Cheers,
John

I so envy you, woman (in a good way!). You are living the dream.

Kiss New York for me, please, and have a fab, fab, FAB time.

Is it easy for Canadians to live in the states in the same way Aussies could live in NZ?

I haven't been to NY before, but it's somewhere that I plan on going to eventually. Since I live in a decent sized city too I would likely get bored of it quickly though. Kirsty I am new to your blog and did not realize that you are Canadian too. How aboot that eh? I'm from over in Vancouver. One day when my websites are doing better I want to do something like you and spend some time traveling the world.

Kirsty -

I'd love to buy you a beer in Boston if our schedules work out. I should be around in late August, but I may still be traveling. Keep me posted!
