Spending two weeks at the '96 Olympics in Atlanta was one of the best summers of my life. I'm happy to hear that it's an awesome experience across the globe...I'm saving my pennies for Vancouver!

Ant I spent a few months before the Olympics started and I do like Beijing. Not sure I'd live there again but it's a cool city. Lots of things going on for expats.

Next up is Burma. Can't wait. Need to sort it all though... no visa or flights yet. Or any idea what to do when I get there. Am hoping to buy a bike and pedal around a wee bit and generally get off the booze! haha

Awesome idea, have you been in Beijing when the Olympics aren't on? Just wondered what your impressions would be? It's not one of my favorite places, they can't all be, but some of the Big City Treats like nighclubs and shopping made a great springboard into China-proper. Where's next?
