I notice i get fewer comments and readers on the weekend. I use the weekend to post "easy" things....things that don't take ages to read. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact most people check their blogs at work and on the weekend, they go out. but give something to those readers who read on the weekend...like me! you play poker? excellent.

I think you're right - it's because people are at work Monday to Friday reading blogs instead of doing what they're supposed to. :) I usually post something light for a Saturday, and then just leave it for the weekend crowd. If I feel inspired and write something good over the weekends I only post it on Monday morning. By the way - I agree - kudos to John!! That is a GREAT idea!! Yup, weekends are just slower.
