		<description>I think companies don&#039;t do the conversions either.  They think in their heads that it&#039;s the same amount when they&#039;re agreeing to it, even though it&#039;s not.   One of these days I&#039;m going to up and move so that I can take advantage of a non-us curency- it truly does suck right now!</description>

		<description>Currency has been my friend and foe! It is all well and good getting paid in sterling but when another currency surges it can hurt.

For instance the Kiwi went from 33p to 40p a Pound and my rent in Auckland effectively went from 70 to 81 pounds without the landlord doing anything!</description>

		<description>Id say that UKcompanies are used to paying more: Ive always found changing pounds to any other currency is depressing if you are travelling in the UK so I stop doing it! Maybe online advertisers do the same thing! The other thing that annoys me is writing American for an &quot;international&quot; audience :-)</description>
