I'm all over disaster relief in China too, it's just a waiting game to see if the organisation I did work for in Bangladesh deploys there. I really don't know a thing about what factors are involved in them choosing a deployment but in both of these cases I think the ruling governments will play a larger part than in the past.</description>

					<description>What about disaster relief in China? I know casualities are 1/10 vs. Myanmar but thats still 15000, Hurricane Katrina killed 1000 to put things in perspective.</description>

The plan as of right now is to hang around in Beijing until after the Olympics then kick around Asia until a wedding in Perth in February than who knows. The reality is that I'll head off to do the disaster response thing if I get the chance. Doesn't look like Myanmar will let people in but if I can help out in Sichuan I'll do it for sure.</description>
